I'm trying to be a little less precious with my drawing. This one is a little looser on the detail, it was more about getting the idea down on paper. "I'm not sure if I like it, but it's what I meant", I think Degas said that. It sums up this one for me. It's a stepping stone.
This is really wonderful xx
ReplyDeletedear lovely denise , just you keep on stepping ...making, taking risks and drawing whatever way it feels best for you ,keep it coming baby we love you xxx
ReplyDeletethanks so much. Jane you're too kind :)
ReplyDeleteI love this. Your definition of 'loose' is very different to mine though! Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteThanks Finn! Its pretty 'loose' when you see it up close :)
ReplyDeleteyou make beautiful things! i think maybe contrasts work best when it comes to "loose"-ness... i mean keeping some parts raw while working others into details... just you did with this one.. i like the rough middle.
ReplyDeleteagnes
Thanks agnes! I think mixing detail with less detailed areas can be more interesting sometimes, it makes your brain work a little harder to make sense of it I think. I need to experiment more :)
ReplyDelete:) experimenting... always a good idea! :)
